“Clement weather, favorable terrain, and concord among people”, our country has all three, making this land the perfect place to create the world's best rice.  For the Vietnamese people, rice do not simply just food. From generation to generation, it is in our nature to cherish the grain of rice as not only do those grains of rice carry the sweat and labor of the farmer who works hard all year round but it also contains the memories of one’s childhood.  No matter what, there is no other rice like Vietnamese rice.  That is why countless Vietnamese compatriots abroad always miss a bowl of freshly cooked rice with side dishes made with love from their mothers.

Despite favorable climate and soil conditions, the journey to bring Vietnamese rice to the world is still difficult. In foreign markets, consumers mostly know about Thai rice, not Vietnamese rice. According to the survey, in the past, our country's businesses often focused mainly on maximizing output and low prices to sell, so it's understandable that brand image goals could be overlooked.  However, that has a direct impact on the businesses' growth as it leads to a lack of brand awareness thus making it harder to foster customers' trust in Vietnamese rice.

Two of the most well-known varieties of rice that are always popular in Vietnam include ST25 and Jasmine fragrant rice.

Produced from the ST25 rice variety of engineer Ho Quang Cua, ST25 rice is superior in quality and tastes like no other rice.  In addition to its distinct fragrance and flavor, another highlight of ST25 fragrant rice lies in the moisture content of the rice and the drying process. Currently, Tran De, Thanh Tri, and My Xuyen are three districts in Soc Trang province that have the best-qualified soil to cultivate ST25 fragrant rice. After harvesting, the rice is treated using drying technology that concentrates the sugar levels in the rice. During this heat-concentrated drying process, the amount of sugar in the rice grain is reduced to a minimum. This is what makes ST25 fragrant rice able to limit the increase of blood sugar for consumers and also help ensures the shelf life of the product can be extended. The best way to enjoy the full flavor of ST25 fragrant rice is to chew the rice slowly and thoroughly to feel its sweetness.

Jasmine fragrant rice, this rice variety began to appear in the years 1979-1980 in the Mekong Delta, mainly concentrated in Soc Trang and Bac Lieu. During the first days, farmers constantly faced many difficulties in the process of cultivating and harvesting. Through years of continuous research and development of new growing methods, including specialized methods to ensure the purity of the rice, farmers have now succeeded in perfecting this rice variety as well as ensuring yield stability to meet domestic and foreign market requirements.

The value and quality of Vietnamese rice over the years have left strong impressions on foreign markets. To achieve these achievements, the production process is extremely rigorous. Thus, An Hoa House is very proud to be playing a part in the journey of expanding foreign markets for Vietnamese goods.  Because especially for Vietnamese expatriates, the sight of Vietnamese rice abroad is always something that makes people feel warmhearted. Stemming from the hope of many Vietnamese people, our main goal is to strengthen the Vietnamese brand and at the same time contribute to improving the competitiveness of other Vietnamese businesses in foreign markets. With consistent efforts, An Hoa House’s rice products are now available in the US market.  Hopefully one day not too far away, Vietnam's rice products will be acknowledged and widely used even more by everyone around the world.
